Goers-Area, Friedrichsdorf

The Goers site is located in downtown Friedrichsdorf between the Hugenottenstrasse and Landgrafenplatz retail locations and the Taunus-Carré shopping center. The approximately 1.3 hectare block area is built on three sides. A large part of the interior area is sealed and is currently used as car parking space.
As part of this urban development competition, a design was developed that strengthens the city center in Friedrichsdorf through a forward-looking development of the Goers site. An attractive connection axis was created between the two retail locations and a sustainable development and usage structure was developed for the block area.
